SpaceCredit ("we", "our", "us") is a Nigerian fintech company that provides a group-lending platform for clusters of trusted members. Our registered office is in Lagos, Nigeria.
2. Information we collect
To provide our services we collect: name, phone number, email address, BVN, bank account details, government-issued ID, photo, device identifiers, transaction history, and cluster activity (memberships, contributions, repayments).
3. How we use your data
- To verify your identity and create your account
- To process contributions, disbursements, and repayments
- To calculate your Cluster Trust score
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations
- To communicate service updates and respond to support requests
4. Sharing your data
We share data only with: our licensed banking partner (for fund movement), NIBSS (for BVN and account verification), regulators where legally required, and service providers strictly bound by confidentiality. We never sell your data.
5. Your rights
Under the NDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@spacecredit.ng to exercise any of these rights.
6. Security
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We follow industry-standard practices including least-privilege access, audit logging, regular penetration testing, and 24/7 monitoring.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after closure to meet financial-services record-keeping obligations.
